Beyond the Hook is a daily listening app that provides:

• • Curated playlists with one song unlocked per day
• • AI-generated contextual stories ("lore") about each song
• • Private spaces to write reflections and comments
• • The ability to create or join "bands" with friends for shared listening

We may update, change, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes.

You're responsible for your account. Keep your password secure. Don't share your account with others. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Be honest. Provide accurate information when you sign up. Keep your account information up to date.

One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts or use someone else's account without permission.

Age requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to use Beyond the Hook.

Free during beta. The service is currently free while we're in beta. We may introduce paid subscriptions in the future, and we'll give you plenty of notice.

Daily unlocks. Songs unlock one per day based on your timezone. You can't skip ahead or unlock songs early—that's the whole point of the daily ritual.

Subscription commitment. When you subscribe to a playlist, you're committing to the daily listening experience. You can abandon a subscription at any time, but you'll lose access to that playlist's songs and lore.

You own your reflections. Any comments or reflections you write remain yours. By posting them, you give us permission to store and display them within the service.

Keep it respectful. Don't post content that's harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or violates others' rights. Be kind to your band members.

Privacy matters. Comments are private by default. Don't share personal information about others without their consent.

We can moderate. While we generally don't review comments (they're private), we reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Invite responsibly. Only invite people you know and trust. Band members can see each other's comments on shared songs.

Leaving a band. You can leave a band anytime. Your subscription will convert to a solo subscription, and you'll lose access to other members' comments.

Band creator responsibilities. If you create a band, you can manage membership and remove members if needed.

Our content. The playlists, lore, design, and code of Beyond the Hook are owned by Windman Ventures, LLC. You can't copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Song rights. We don't own the music. We link to songs on streaming platforms where you already have access. Make sure you have valid licenses for the streaming services you use.

AI-generated lore. The contextual stories we generate are created by AI and curated by us. They're provided for educational and entertainment purposes.

Don't do any of the following:

• • Hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service
• • Use automated tools or bots
• • Try to bypass the daily unlock system
• • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• • Interfere with other users' experience
• • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

You can leave anytime. Delete your account in settings or email us at support@beyondthehook.com.

We can suspend or terminate accounts. If you violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior, we may suspend or terminate your account. We'll usually warn you first, but we reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations.

Provided "as is." Beyond the Hook is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the service running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

AI-generated content. The lore and stories are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. They're meant to enhance your listening experience, not replace scholarly research.

External links. We link to songs on third-party streaming platforms. We're not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or terms.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Windman Ventures, LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
